S. Salman Naqvi is a leading mind in the field of Endocrinology with almost 20 years in the field. He serves as the Medical Director at both the Pulmonary Department of Kindred Hospital in Westminster and the Cardio-pulmonary Department of the Coastal Communities Hospital. Until 2005 Dr. Naqvi taught at the University of California, Irvine's Department of Medicine. Since October of 2005, he has been an instrumental part of RI's earthquake relief work to Pakistan. Dr. Naqvi received his Master of Sciences from the Institute of Medical Sciences University of Toronto and his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Sind Medical College at the University of Karachi, Pakistan. Besides his numerous appointments, Dr. Naqvi has had a private practice in Orange County since 1995. He joined RI's Board of Directors in 2006.
