  Sudan: Darfur & South Sudan

South Sudan
Fighting, famine and disease during 21 years of civil war, has led to the death of more than 2 million people, forcing 600,000 to become refugees and displacing more than 4 million. RI today serves a community of 40,000 South Sudanese returning to their villages, while supporting the re-development of health, shelter, water, and sanitation systems.

Darfur
The current conflict in the Darfur region is one of the most lethal humanitarian crises in the world today, and has displaced 2 million and killed more than 200,000. RI provides relief and development support to women, children, and families struggling to survive each day with dignity.
