Emergency Health for Populations in Darfur
		RI’s health interventions in North Darfur focus on emergency health and nutrition care to individuals whose lives have been disrupted by violence and displacement. RI currently operates a primary health care clinic in Zam Zam Camp and 6 satellite village-run health facilities across the state.

		RI currently operates two therapeutic feeding centers in Zam Zam Camp to provide emergency nutrition support to the most vulnerable populations in the camp via food rations, growth monitoring, and nutrition education for caretakers and suffers of malnutrition.

		Maban County has not had a functioning healthcare network since 1986. RI supports facility rehabilitation, procurement of medicines and training. The Bounj Clinic is the first health facility accessible to all residents of the county.

		Poor sanitation and access to clean water are driving disease in South Sudan. RI is providing support for the construction of water points and ensuring households have functioning latrines and hand washing stations.
