As part of the Regional Programs Team within the Regional Support Office (RSO) for RI’s Middle East Region, the Regional Program Manager (RPM) will support Program and Portfolio Management across the Middle East region and be responsible for program and grants management backstopping for the Middle East portfolio. The RPM works with the Regional Program Director to provide ongoing support to country program teams and ensures close coordination with the Global Award Management Unit (AMU), the Global Program Development (PD) Team, the global Technical Assistance Department (TAD), and other departments at the Global Support Office (GSO). The RPM will also liaise with donors, working with country, regional and global team members to ensure that RI is accurately and promptly complying with donor requests related to program and grants management.
This position will undertake key tasks and deliverables for the Middle East program portfolio, currently consisting of humanitarian and development programs across the six countries as assigned to by the Regional Program Director. Periodic field travel will be expected, to provide direct support, gap filling, monitoring and serve as surge support in response to humanitarian crises.
This position demands a highly dynamic, proactive, autonomous, and flexible individual with solid and effective, quality project cycle and grant management skills who is ready to provide substantive contributions and explore advancing their leadership capacity for achieving results in a demanding and fast-paced environment. An excellent communicator and team player with fluency in English and who is at ease working in a highly diverse team, capable of adapting communication styles to different audiences.
RI is looking for a unique Corporate & Foundations Partnership Director with an entrepreneurial spirit and excitement to build a new team, develop new collaborative opportunities with experts across the organization and lead efforts to identify, cultivate and grow Relief International’s engagement with mid to large size private partners. The Corporate & Foundations Partnership Director will be an experienced leader, with excitement to drive new areas of opportunity leading to scalable, global change in the countries and regions where we work.
This role will align closely with the Philanthropy and Communications Department to expand RI’s donor base and unrestricted funding opportunities, primarily across the USA, with support to the UK, Europe and beyond. This role will partner closely with the CDMO, CEO and Program Development Team.
The Country Finance Manager will oversee and strengthen financial operations, ensuring robust financial management practices that support the organization’s programs and objectives in Sudan.
The Sanctions Compliance Coordinator works closely with the General Counsel to ensure sanctions policies and procedures are implemented in accordance with Relief International’s internal polices, and relevant laws and requirements.
Your role will involve advising departments and country offices on compliance, and supporting with risk management. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to support license application/renewal processes and mandatory reporting to appropriate regulatory agencies.
The HR Officer will support the Global Support Office (GSO) HR Team with proactive and efficient administrative support, and work with the GSO HR Manager to provide a high quality onboarding process for new joiners. This will include administration of RI’s onboarding processes; checking and verifying due diligence in the hiring and contracting process; maintaining employee profiles and staff files and providing an ‘HR helpdesk’ service to GSO staff.
In addition, the HR Officer will apply their knowledge and experience of employment practices and regulations in France to support the full employee life cycle of staff employed by RI France, working closely with the Director of RI France and the Chief HR Officer.
You will be responsible for overall management of the Afghanistan Health and Nutrition program. You will be responsible for the direct implementation of the program, working under the supervision of the DCD-Programs to ensure objectives are on track, work plans in place and program progress is on track. This will require you to work constructively with colleagues across all programming areas in close coordination with the country office departments (Supply Chain and Operations, Finance and Human Resource).
The Program Director will oversee the management of the overall program implementation while ensuring quality reporting, financial management, monitoring and accountability under the guidance and supervision of the Deputy Country Director Programs and in coordination with the Area Managers, Technical Advisors and Support Functions Leads. S/he will ensure all program interventions are strategic, effective, meet designated goals and objectives, are informed by and participated in by targeted beneficiaries and are delivered on time. S/he will coordinate with major internal stakeholders to ensure country program activities are implemented as planned and are being monitored to achieve quality results and to make sure we are on scope, target and budget. Working with DCD Programs, Technical Advisors, Area Managers and Support Leads, the Program Director is expected to lead effective implementation and communication on the progress of the program to local authorities and other humanitarian actors across the country.
The Program Director is expected to be a high performer in implementation requirements and timelines observation, project cycle management, team management and team building, and support functions. The Program Director will build the capacity of Project Managers and the field teams, as well as local partners, in times when the local capacity is more critical than ever in the delivery of humanitarian aid. The direct work relationship with project managers is aimed at ensuring all administrative, programmatic, and field-level challenges are identified and addressed immediately so RI can deliver timely, quality and fully compliant results.
The Finance Officer will make all payments in accordance with RI finance procedures and finance checklist, review supporting documents for each payment to ensure completeness before payment is made and prepare payment vouchers for every payment, make sure expenditures have been verified with the correct coding and approval (per the Approval Matrix) before payment is processed, and prepare monthly financial reports and submit to the Finance Manager a report as per the agreed list of monthly reports.
